May to August 2010 marked our gypsy-inspired journey across Southern and Western Europe. Disorganized, excited, and ready for some adventures off the beaten tourist path, our gallivanting led us through nine charming European countries in three short months. With no clear itinerary and Eurorail in hand, we voyaged our way though England, Spain, the Netherlands, Greece, Italy, France, Monaco, Croatia, and Hungary.
Travelling over long periods of time on a budget may have its downfalls, but the occasional homelessness, lack of rest and daily setbacks made the experience unforgettable. In the end, it was the best sporatic detour from life we could have asked for. The freedom of being agenda-less allowed us to spend more time in the places we loved and although it is not for everyone, I highly recomend this method of travel.
Though we are left with great memories, the early death of two cameras (R.I.P. Canons) left us with a weary little Nikon that hardly captured the idyllic scenes that Europe has to offer. The following are the few decent shots we took despite our technological - and sluggish - disadvantages.
